Your new company

A large primary school based in South Birmingham are looking for an Office Manager to join their dynamic school. This is a school which is passionate about creating a welcoming, safe and beautiful environment for the children, staff and the community. The role will be 8am to 4pm Monday - Friday. The role is initially on an interim basis, but there is a possibility for the role to become permanent for the right individual.

Your new role

Role and responsibilities will include but not restricted to:

Ensuring the smooth running of the school and good communications with staff and parents
Maintaining an overview of the school's key recording and reporting requirements and ensure that the relevant information is calendared, prepared and submitted.
Ensuring that appropriate pupil information is maintained and communicated in a timely manner.
Ensuring that appropriate staff information is maintained and communicated in a timely manner.
Working closely with the senior leadership team and staying in touch with current school issues
Providing high standards of administration support for the school's Headteacher and senior leadership team
Demonstrating competence in managing finance and HR systems
Providing PA support to the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher

What you'll need to succeed

* An excellent communicator both verbal and written
* Enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable with a flexible, can-do attitude
* Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to work with senior leaders to set project and operational targets
* Self-motivated, dynamic and a good team player
* Be able to lead a team of administration assistants
* Loves working in a busy school environment
