Job Duties:

Planning and implementing activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children
Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
Observing, assessing, and recording each child's progress
Working in partnership with parents and carers
Attending staff meetings and training sessions

Required Qualifications:

Level 3 Early Years qualification

Education:

Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification

Experience:

Prior experience working in a nursery setting

Knowledge and Skills:

Thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications in childcare or education

Working Conditions:

This role involves working with young children in a nursery setting. It may require flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the children. The practitioner must adhere to all safeguarding and health and safety policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
