Network IT is recruiting for a SQL DBA to join our client in Milton Keynes on a 6 month initial contract. 

Our client is looking for a SQL specialist, with experience across admin, maintenance, optimization, security and automation, to join an existing team working on their Microsoft SQL Server environment. 

You'll ideally bring experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL database administration, in both an on-prem and Azure cloud environment. 

You must be a British Citizen, eligible for SC Clearance (or already cleared) to be able to apply, given the nature of the customer.  

Role: SQL DBA
Rate: £(Apply online only) per day
Duration: 6 Months 
Status: Inside IR35
Location: Milton Keynes 
Working Arrangement: 3 days per week onsite / 2 days remote

Strong experience in administering Microsoft SQL Server, database administration background. 
Hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL and MySQL database administration.
Strong understanding of T‑SQL, SQL query optimization, and database internals.
Automation of routine tasks with PowerShell, Bash, Python or SQL based scripting.
Operating in an on-prem and cloud environment (Azure or AWS).
Must be a British Citizen, and eligible for SC Clearance as a minimum
