Fire Safety Officer

Venn Group is working with a London Borough to recruit for a Fire Safety Officer to lead on a few areas for the council to help improve overall Fire Safety.

Day rate: £400 per day

Duration: Temporary

Hours: 36 per week

Location: London

The successful candidate will:

• Quality Assurance of third party FRAs.
• Street Property FRAs.
• Assisting with residential PEEPs.
• Technical fire safety lead for blocks within their patch
• Supporting Building Safety Managers in preparing safety case reports
• Regular fire safety inspections of medium rise blocks.
• Post fire investigations.
• Assisting LFB on audit

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum L4 certificate or equivalent.
• Membership of a professional fire safety body (e.g., IFSM, IFE).
• Desirable = Experience within the housing sector
