We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on product design experience to join our clients engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies, and components using Autodesk Inventor.

Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for fabrication and assembly.

*

Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and ensure proper fit, form, and function.

*

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, manufacturing, and procurement.

*

Conduct design reviews and implement feedback into revisions.

*

Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities.

*

Maintain engineering documentation and Bill of Materials (BOMs).

*

Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.

*

Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and tools.

Requirements:

*

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

*

5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.

*

Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (3D modeling, assembly design, and drawing creation).

*

Solid understanding of GD&T, materials, and manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, sheet metal, plastic injection molding).

*

Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a plus.

*

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

*

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with FEA or simulation tools within Inventor or other platforms.

*

Knowledge of other CAD platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is beneficial.
