We have a modern and purpose designed setting in Twickenham who is looking for an experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner.

Set close to the heart of town, this nursery is well served by local public transport and is only a short walk from the railway station and local bus routes. They place the children at the heart of everything they do and follow a philosophy a child-centred and love of the outdoors. The children enjoy regular trips into the local community and parks and they also have access to a secure outdoor space at the rear of the Nursery. They recently received an award for their menu which demonstrates their commitment to providing a healthy balanced diet to their children, with all meals cooked fresh, on-site, everyday.

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and education for young children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met. Implementing engaging activities, fostering positive relationships, and maintaining a nurturing environment, you will contribute to creating a positive and enriching early childhood experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Build strong and positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Create a stimulating and safe environment that encourages the children's curiosity and exploration
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, fostering a love for learning and development
  • Provide daily care routines, ensuring the well-being and happiness of each child
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification
  • Previous experience in a nursery setting, demonstrating a genuine passion for early childhood education
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of and commitment to promoting a child-centred and inclusive environment
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team culture
