Job Advert: Teaching Assistant - Phonics Interventions (Supply)

Location: Chesterfield & South Sheffield
Contract: Flexible Supply (Minimum 3 days per week)

Are you passionate about early literacy and phonics? Do you have experience supporting Key Stage 1 pupils and want flexible work that makes a real difference? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Level 2+ qualified Teaching Assistant to support phonics interventions across a range of schools in Chesterfield and South Sheffield.

About the Role:

We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant to deliver and support phonics interventions on a supply basis. You will work across different primary schools, helping children in KS1 improve their reading and phonics skills.

Key Requirements:

A recognised TA qualification (minimum Level 2)

At least three days of availability per week

Strong experience supporting phonics in Key Stage 1

Solid understanding of major phonics programmes, such as Read Write Inc.

Your own transport is highly beneficial due to travel between schools
