In this SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant role in Bedford, you'll be part of a small, supportive team, teaching with enthusiasm and using a range of strategies and resources to engage learners effectively. You'll contribute to a nurturing educational environment that supports learners' personal growth and development.
This is a fantastic opportunity in Bedford for experienced SEN TAs or Psychology/Criminology graduates who are passionate about supporting young people with additional needs in an education and training environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff and assist with classroom learning
- Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support (6-8 learners)
- Supervise pupils during breakfast, break, and lunch
- Administer medication (training provided)
