The Truckload Dedicated Coordinator position is a blend of Operations, Sales, and Customer Service. The primary responsibility of a Truckload Dedicated Coordinator is to build a vast knowledge of surface transportation in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada that can be used to match available carriers with loads secured by ArcBest. The position offers a vast array of responsibilities and exposure to all aspects of a transportation brokerage operation and serves as the day-to-day contact for Drivers and Load Planners.

Work closely with Sales to help secure available equipment.
Negotiate rates with third party carriers to secure capacity.
Expand and further develop ArcBest’s dedicated carrier list.
Review and maintain all pertinent information for carrier files.
Proactively manage loads from dispatch to delivery.
Serve as primary contact to Drivers and Load Planners
Coordinate home time requests and facilitate roadside assistance as needed
Monitor hours of service to ensure timely delivery and proactively make appointment changes
Directly communicate with Shippers and Receivers to schedule and reschedule appointments.
Work in a team setting to accomplish goals with emphasis on account and teammate backup.
Answer inbound customer phone calls and handle professional and appropriately.
