About the role: Teach Now is seeking a dedicated Assistant Head Teacher to join a dynamic, purpose-built primary school in Kingscross. This full-time role focuses on curriculum development across KS1 and KS2, with no classroom teaching responsibilities. You will work closely with the leadership team, ensuring the curriculum is planned half a term in advance, following long-term planning for all subjects. We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of the UK curriculum, a passion for innovative teaching methods, and a creative approach to curriculum design. About the school: Our school is a modern 2-form entry primary with 420 pupils aged 4 to 11, plus a 26-place nursery. Conveniently located close to Kingscross station. Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in curriculum development for KS1 and KS2 preffered.
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum, including long-term planning and subject integration.
• Leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage curriculum development timelines and processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with staff across different departments.
• Creative problem-solving and innovation, with a passion for enhancing teaching methods and designing engaging educational content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the development and planning of the curriculum for KS1 and KS2, ensuring it aligns with the school's long-term educational goals.
• Work closely with teachers and staff to implement curriculum changes and ensure consistency across all subjects.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum, making adjustments as necessary to improve student outcomes.
• Provide guidance and support to teaching staff on curriculum-related matters, including training on new teaching methods.
• Stay updated on educational trends and policies, ensuring the curriculum meets current standards and best practices.
