Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Waste Driver/Operative to join a Waste Management Company based in Macclesfield. This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle around the site collecting and transporting waste

*

Collect, move, and process general, recyclable, and chemical waste

*

Carry out daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures

*

Complete all required paperwork, including waste transfer and consignment notes

*

Report any vehicle defects or breakdowns promptly

*

Operate equipment such as balers and, where trained, forklift trucks

*

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised waste area

*

Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times

Essential Requirements

*

Full UK driving licence (Category C1 - 7.5 tonne)

*

Valid CPC card

*

Digital Tacho card
