A1 Jobs is current looking for experienced Bench hand Joiners for or our client in Cumbernauld.

Our client are a well-established joinery company specialising in high-quality, bespoke Fit-out and refurbishments. With a strong reputation for craftsmanship and attention to detail, we work across a wide range of projects including cabinetry, furniture, doors, windows, staircases, and custom one-off commissions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to join our skilled workshop team.

Job Role

* Producing high-quality joinery items from drawings, specifications, and templates

* Working confidently with both hand tools and woodworking machinery

* Assembling and finishing bespoke joinery products to a high standard

* Selecting appropriate materials and ensuring accuracy in measurements and cutting

* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

* Collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines

Essential Skills/Experience Required:

* Proven experience as a bench hand joiner (minimum 2 years preferred)

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Strong craftsmanship and excellent attention to detail

* Competence in using woodworking machinery (e.g., saws, planers, routers, spindle moulders)

* Good knowledge of solid timber and sheet materials

* A proactive approach and pride in producing quality work

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
