Financial Controller

• Annual Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

Reed Finance Norwich are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing, Norwich based business to recruit for a Financial Controller to provide strategic financial direction and leadership, supporting company growth and maintaining their strong family heritage.

This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified finance professional with an entrepreneurial mindset to support the senior leadership team with growth plans and strategic business development.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing financial governance, controls and compliance
• Maintaining accurate records and support strategic decision-making alongside the Head of Finance
• Assist the SLT with pricing models and commercial appraisals
• Manage, coach and develop the finance team
• Lead monthly management accounts and produce clear financial reports and commentary
• Coordinate annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long-term financial models
• Manage cashflow forecasting
• Communicate key financial information to internal teams and leadership
• Build productive relationships with suppliers, auditors and external advisors

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Have 5+ years post qualification experience
• Have proven track record as a senior finance leader
• Have experience operating within a multi-site organisation
• Be able to balance strategic vision with operational execution
