A respected environmental and ground engineering consultancy is seeking a Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer to join its growing Birmingham-based team. This opportunity is well suited to a recent graduate looking to begin their career within the contaminated land and ground investigation sector while gaining practical field and reporting experience across a variety of development projects.

• Starting salary of £25,000 - £28,000

This position provides an excellent entry point for a graduate looking to develop hands-on experience in the geoenvironmental sector while working within a collaborative consultancy environment.

• Assisting with ground investigation activities such as borehole and trial pit logging

• Collecting soil, groundwater and gas samples during fieldwork

• Recording and organising data obtained during site investigations

• Assisting with the preparation of technical documentation and interpretative reports

• Working with senior engineers to help deliver geoenvironmental and geotechnical assessments

To be considered for this Graduate Geoenvironmental Engineer role, applicants should have:

• A degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, or a similar subject

• A full UK driving licence

• The right to work in the UK

• Willingness to travel to project sites when required

• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of Birmingham
