Management Accountant position - Legal Sector

Our client, a boutique law firm based near Chancery Lane is seeking an experienced management accountant to join their expanding finance team. This position will report directly to the Finance Director and will be responsible for ensuring financial reporting requirements are completed within deadlines.

Core duties of the Management Accountant will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and board pack for the management committee
• Preparation of year-end figures
• Balance Sheet reconciliations and performing variances analysis
• Annual budget and cashflow forecasting
• Overseeing the Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables function
• Responsible for ensuring month-end close processes are completed within strict timeframes
• Maintaining strong working relationships with banks and other internal and external parties
• Supporting the Finance Director with audits and ad-hoc project work

This is a fantastic opportunity, offering a varied role with the prospect to progress. To qualify for this vacancy, you will have extensive experience in the above duties, have worked in the legal/professional services sector and it would also be beneficial if you have a qualification in accounting; - such as ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA
