The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of one of our long-standing engineering clients.
We are currently looking to recruit a number of CNC Operatives to join a well-established and reputable engineering company.
?? About the Role
You may already have experience within a similar engineering environment; however, industry-specific experience is not essential. If you have the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a solid engineering background, full training can be provided.
? Key Requirements
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Previous experience within a steel-based engineering or manufacturing environment
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous CNC operating experience is advantageous but not essential
? Shifts & Working Hours
Initial training period:
Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 (first couple of weeks)
Ongoing shifts:
Rotating 12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
No weekend working
?? Pay & Progression
- Pay is based on a skill matrix, depending on experience and competency
- Pay rate range: £13.30 - £16.22 per hour
- Typical starting rate: £13.30 per hour (higher rates available for candidates with prior relevant experience)
