A successful and fast growing organisation who have doubled in size in the last 5 years are looking for a Netsuite Administrator.

They are an independent family owned local business based in St Albans. They offer quality products and a traditional service as well as a multi-channel offering and they supply into 500 schools across the UK. This is an exciting time to join them as they continue to grow and develop.

Following the successful implementation of the Oracle Netsuite ERP system, a new role has been created to provide ongoing administration and user support. Due to the integrated nature of Netsuite the role will also coordinate changes accross the companies web site, warehouse and till systems with their partner companies.

The main purpose of the role is to be the subject expert for the Netsuite system and related products. Coordinating the development and implementation of changes, ensuring they are tested and users are appropriately trained in its use. Recording issues and effectively communicating them to support companies and managing through to satisfactory resolution.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain a register of open issues / enhancement requests

* Engage regularly with end users for feedback and to determine and clarify new requirements

* Liase with partner companies to scope, develop and deliver necessary changes

* Act as first line of support for any issues raised on Netsuite or the related systems

* Maintain strong awareness of Netsuite capabilities through its twice yearly upgrade program determining where upcoming features could be employed within the business.

* Administer the systems setting up new users, creating reports and uploading data as required to support the business

* Develop reports and other small enhancements to reduce reliance on third parties

What the employer is looking for:

* At least one year Netsuite experience (additional training will be provided)

* Analytical and technically minded able to visualise key concepts in a database system

* Strong communication skills, able to deal equally with end users and solution providers

* Self starter and not afraid of experimentation to effectively test systems and investigate potential solutions to business challenges

* Able to maintain clear documentation of project progress and knowledge base articles

* Experience of reading and creating formulas and expressions such as those used in Excel
