Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs? A welcoming primary school in Speke (L24) is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from March, providing support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Role Overview

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of additional needs.
Work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, tailoring support to developmental stages.
Assist with behaviour regulation, communication support and emotional wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCo and external professionals to deliver personalised strategies and learning plans.
Help to maintain a supportive, positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

Experienced in supporting children with SEND (Autism, SEMH, cognition & learning, or communication needs).
Patient, nurturing and proactive in responding to children's individual needs.
Adaptable across age groups and confident in using different approaches to support learning.
Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
Passionate about helping children build independence, resilience and self-confidence.
