We are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Newport to recruit a passionate and dedicated teacher to join their team from as soon as possible. The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, supporting pupils' academic progress, and creating a positive learning environment where all students feel motivated, challenged, and valued.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum

Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress and development

Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour strategies

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
