We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified Finance Manager to join a fast-paced business operating within the Fuel, Oil & Commodities sector.

This temp-to-perm role offers the chance to join a dynamic and growing organisation, with the potential to secure a long-term position while making an immediate impact within the finance function.

Playing a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting group operations, and driving process improvements in a commercially driven environment.

What will you do as a Finance Manager?

• Monthly management accounts, profit/loss, balance sheet, & cash flow forecasts
• Conduct detailed variance analysis, providing clear explanations and actionable insights
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and ongoing financial forecasts
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Assist with financial modelling, scenario planning, and ad-hoc analysis
• Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across the group
• Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation calculations
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
• Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors
• Prepare VAT returns and statutory submissions

What do you need as a Finance Manager?

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management accounting or similar role
• Proven experience working at group level or within a multi-entity environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP
• Experience with multi-currency and intercompany transactions
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modelling)
• Experience using ERP system
