Children's Residential Support Worker - Burton upon Trent
Salary: £30,700 per annum
Shift Pattern: 1 day on (08:00 - 22:30) with a sleep-in, followed by 2 days off
Location: Burton upon Trent

We are proud to be working with our client in their search for a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join their team in a specialist home supporting children with learning disabilities, based in Burton upon Trent.

This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a nurturing and person-centred environment, where children and young people with a range of learning disabilities receive the care, encouragement, and support they need to reach their full potential.

What the Role Involves:

* Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities

* Supporting individuals with daily routines, personal care, communication, and social interaction

* Encouraging independence and participation in meaningful activities and community engagement

* Ensuring the physical, emotional, and safeguarding needs of the children are always met

* Working closely with the team, families, and professionals to deliver consistent and tailored care

Requirements:

* Experience working with children or young people with learning disabilities or additional needs is desirable

* A caring, patient, and empathetic nature

* A full UK driving licence is essential

* Willingness to work a rolling shift pattern of 1 day on (08:00-22:30) with a sleep-in, followed by 2 days off
