Requirements

*

Minimum 4 years' experience in mechanical/HVAC project engineering

*

Strong knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, heating, plumbing, and BMS

*

Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)

*

Full UK Driving Licence

*

IOSH/NEBOSH certification (desirable)

*

Proven success delivering projects on time, on budget, and meeting SHEQ standards (desirable)

*

Experience managing engineering teams & subcontractors (desirable)

*

Ability to interpret drawings and manage cost/design elements (desirable)

*

Strong written and verbal communication skills

*

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

*

Manage multiple HVAC/mechanical projects up to £1M from start to finish

*

Prepare RAMS, H&S documentation, and ensure legal compliance

*

Liaise with suppliers, handle procurement, negotiate discounts, and approve invoices

*

Coordinate engineers, labour, subcontractors, and commissioning teams

*

Plan and schedule works, including weekly site coordination

*

Run weekly client meetings and report to the Contract Director

*

Identify variations, secure instructions, and maximise project value

*

Problem-solve and drive projects to completion on time and within budget

*

Prepare O&M manuals and oversee final client handover
