We are looking for an experienced and committed Senior Care Worker to join our team, playing a key role in delivering high quality, person centred care and supporting the smooth day to day running of the service. This is a leadership role where you will lead by example, support colleagues and ensure people receive safe, compassionate and consistent care.
What your day could look like - Leading and supporting staff to deliver high quality, person centred care
- Acting as a role model for best practice, values and behaviours
- Supporting with personal care, medication and daily routines as required
- Overseeing care delivery to ensure care plans are followed and outcomes achieved
- Supporting new staff through induction, mentoring and on the job guidance
- Communicating effectively with colleagues, managers and external professionals
- Completing accurate records and contributing to audits and quality monitoring
- Responding appropriately to changes in need, incidents or concerns
About youYou will be an experienced care professional with a strong understanding of person centred care and team leadership. You must hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be a registered member of the SSSC. Appointment to this role is subject to PVG membership. You will be confident supporting and guiding others, able to make sound decisions and committed to maintaining high standards of care, dignity and respect.
