My client is a local authority looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our team, working across a variety of equipment including:

Ride-on and stand-on mowers

*

Push mowers

*

Trailers

*

Municipal fleet vehicles

What you'll be doing:

Servicing and repairing grounds maintenance equipment
Trailer maintenance and basic fabrication tasks
Assisting with repairs and servicing of a municipal transport fleet
Diagnosing mechanical issues and carrying out preventative maintenance

What we're looking for:

Hands-on experience in mechanical repair - ideally from a vehicle, plant, or small engine background
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A keen eye for detail and commitment to safety
Full driving licence preferred
