Description
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while performing engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with the production team to enhance machine performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules and completed work.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as required.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Profile
A successful Mechanical Shift Engineer should have:
- A recognised qualification in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience working in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
