Your role as Tax Advisory Assistant Manager / Manager
You will manage a varied portfolio of clients, predominantly owner-managed businesses and SMEs, providing both corporate and personal tax advice.
This is a hands-on, advisory-led role where you will work closely with clients and internal teams, contributing to a wide range of tax projects.
Day to day, you will:
- Provide clear, practical tax advice to a portfolio of clients
- Manage and review complex corporation tax matters, including reorganisations and planning
- Advise on remuneration planning, succession planning, CGT and IHT
- Support clients through key stages of the business life-cycle
- Work closely with other service lines to deliver joined-up advice
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support and mentor junior team members
The wider goal of the business is to deliver high-quality, commercially focused advice while building long-term, trusted client relationships, and you will play a key role in that.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses
- A mix of corporate and personal tax experience
- CTA qualified is advantageous, although ATT/ACA qualified candidates with strong experience will also be considered
