GSL Education London Branch are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary comprehensive school in Waltham Forest. This is a great role for a passionate Food Technology Teacher who enjoys inspiring students and delivering engaging, practical lessons.

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop essential cooking skills, knowledge of nutrition, and a love for food. The school is looking for a confident and creative Food Technology Teacher who can bring energy into the classroom and support students of all abilities.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons as a Food Technology Teacher
Teach students about food preparation, nutrition, and health
Ensure a safe and organised kitchen/classroom environment
Assess and monitor student progress regularly
Support students of different abilities and learning needs
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Work collaboratively with other staff as a Food Technology Teacher

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working as a Food Technology Teacher in a secondary school
Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
Good classroom management skills
Ability to engage and motivate students
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
A positive and professional attitude
