About the role…
Due to growth, our IT function has an opportunity for a specialist Junior Developer to join our team. As a Junior Business Central Developer you will work as part of the IT team and possess a comprehensive and detailed understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions to refine Ipsum's operations and to meet business requirements. This is a full-time permanent position which can be based across the Northwest, with an expectation of travelling to our office based in Chorley upon business need.
As a Junior Business Central Developer you will…
• Design, develop, and introduce new features and functionalities using the AL language in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants and users to capture requirements and deliver them in an agile way.
• Guarantee that all developments undergo rigorous testing prior to deployment.
• Responsible for managing application environments and release processes in line with the IT standards for delivery in a three-tier environment.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to integrate Business Central with other systems and applications.
• Offer technical support and training to users when required.
• Regularly monitor and remain up to date with the newest trends and updates in the Business Central community.
• Engage in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and address issues related to Business Central and its integrations.
About you…
As this is a specialist position, Business Central experience is essential along with, experience within UK Finance and knowledge of integrating system software. If you hold this experience and knowledge, then we would love to hear from you!
