We are currently seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a dynamic college in Nelson. This position requires an immediate start and will involve planning and teaching science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, not just covering classes. Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan and deliver comprehensive science lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
• Engage and inspire students through hands-on and theoretical learning.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt lesson plans to meet the educational needs of individuals.
• Maintain a positive, educational atmosphere in the classroom.
• Collaborate with other science department staff to enhance the overall teaching strategy and share best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Science.
• Experience in teaching Science at secondary level, specifically KS3 and KS4.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills.
