Machine Service and assembly Engineer vacancy in Leighton Buzzard.
40 hours a week.
5 days / 8 hours each day
8-4.30pm
30 min lunch 1-1.30.
You must have own transport for this possition.
Pay rate depending on experience.

Machine Service Engineer - Covering UK
Machine assembly and setup - Based Leighton Buzzard area.
* Machine installations, repairs and programming.
* Machine servicing in the field, UK mainland
* Machine sub assembly
* Machine assembly and setting.
* CNC machine programming and setting
* Machine refurbishment and repairs
* Prototype assembly / testing.
➢ Work with production colleagues to help deliver machines on-time and in good working order.
➢ Work safely and diligently.
➢ Liaise with customers regarding site visits, spare parts and service requirements.
➢ Liaise with the office manager regarding site visits, visit reports, timesheets, additional spare parts and service requirements.
➢ Feedback to the company regarding machine improvements, new machine ideas and any new sales opportunities.
Essential skills;
* Drilling and tapping in light aluminum and mild steel.
* Levelling machine work tables using 0.1 and 0.05 shim
* Levelling machines and linear guide bars
* Working with engineering squares, straight edges, darts and dial gauges to set machine tables / fences
* Fitting linear guides, rails, bearings, and bushes
* Align guide shafts and moving parts and drive systems.
* Including Servo drives, lead screws, rack and pinion and Pneumatic cylinders.
* Use of different types of threadlock / loctite
* Ability to following instructions both written and verbal.
* Ability to work on your own and well in a team
* Good work ethic, time and house keeping.
* Punctual. Diligent.
* Set of basic tools,
* (spanner set 8-17, Allen key Set, Screwdriver Set flat head , cross head)
* Safety boots with steel toe cap
