We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Lecturer in History and Politics to join our clients team. This role is ideal for both experienced educators and enthusiastic new entrants to the profession, offering an opportunity to teach AS and A Level History and Politics, as well as GCSE History.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and informative lectures in History and Politics to students at AS, A Level, and GCSE.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials to enhance the learning experience.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students.
• Participate in curriculum development activities and departmental meetings.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A degree in History, Politics, or a closely related subject.
• Experience teaching up to A Level, with a proven track record of excellent teaching outcomes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students aged 16-19.
• Commitment to professional development; if not already qualified, the candidate will be supported to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification.
