About Us

Coppersmith Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing timber frame construction companyoperating across the UK. Due to a significant increase in project demand, we are now seeking experienced Timber Frame Erectors / Joiners to join their skilled team working on both residential and commercial new build developments.

The Role

As a Timber Frame Erector/Joiner, you will play a key role in the assembly and installation of timber frame structures on construction sites across the country. You'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship, adhering to safety standards, and contributing to the timely delivery of key projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Erect and install timber frame structures on-site according to project specifications and drawings

* Work as part of a team to meet project timelines and quality standards

* Interpret technical drawings and follow construction plans accurately

* Ensure compliance with health & safety guidelines at all times

* Perform site preparation tasks and maintain a clean, safe working environment

* Communicate effectively with site supervisors and project managers

* Travel to various sites across the UK as required (accommodation/travel support provided where necessary)

Requirements

* Minimum 1 year of experience in timber frame erecting or joinery

* Experience working on new build residential or commercial properties

* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans

* Comfortable with working at height and in varying site conditions

* Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to quality

* Full UK driving license preferred

* Living in the Midlands may be advantageous due to project locations and logistics
