Hours: 37 per week Part time/flexible working options will be considered

Salary range: £40.698 to £44.874 per annum (pro-rata if part time)

Nottinghamshire Police has recently invested in its Information Services team, its people, and the structure. 

They provide technologies and IT services that directly impact operational policing. From the equipment that frontline officers require to be able to make decisions on the street, big data and analytics, 999/101 Control Room services, technologies that support digital investigations and everything in between! Information Services is at the heart of it all!

They are motivated by exploiting the technology to support and improve the Policing service provided to the community of Nottinghamshire. Joining the Information Services team, you can expect to be working alongside great people.  Nottinghamshire Police are committed to investing in professional development, training and accreditation. 

As the Data Architect you will be the technical authority and subject matter expert helping to shape the data management strategy according to the Force Policies and working practices for new products/services being commissioned as well as developing the plans for decommissioned systems including archiving, integration, warehousing and analytics.

You will be reviewing and troubleshooting technical and business data issues, recommending strategies to improve data quality, reliability and data structures using the right data quality tools. You will be required review the data landscape and champion new ideas to support and encourage innovation and lead the ongoing appraisal of developments in application systems, assessing how these will impact the business and architecture strategy.
