BDS are currently recruiting for a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager based in the Reading area.
We are looking for someone with a friendly and happy demeanour to be the first point of contact for the residents of the service.
* Speaking with the residents daily via telephone or face to face
* Signposting information for residents
* Working around voids, tenancies and lettings
* Checking the properties for any repairs and reporting these as required
* Health and safety checks
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of IT and systems
Previous Housing experience preferred, managing tenancies and void propertied etc
Easy to approach and be able to chat easily with residents.
This position is for 20 Hours a week, flexible on how this is worked
You will need to be a driver with acsess to a vehicle as travel may be required between nearby schemes
This is a temporary ongoing position to start ASAP
Pay rate of £13.71ph PAYE or £16.67ph UMB
