We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead the Health, Safety & Environmental function across UK and international sites within a production/manufacturing environment (marine experience desirable).

You will act as the senior HSE lead, advising the Senior Management Team, ensuring full legislative compliance, and driving a positive safety culture across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities of the HSE Manager:

•Lead and develop the HSE team
•Implement and manage company-wide HSE strategy
•Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation (including RIDDOR)
•Maintain ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 aligned management systems
•Oversee audits, risk register, incident investigations and corrective actions
•Develop and deliver HSE training plans
•Manage HSE budget, reporting and third-party suppliers
•Advise leadership on regulatory and compliance matters

Essential Requirements of the HSE Manager:

•NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
•IOSH or recognised HSE qualification
•Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation
•Experience in manufacturing/production environments
•Proven experience leading HSE teams
•Audit, training and compliance management experience
•Strong communication and organisational skills
