What you'll be doing;

• Conduct weekly site visits with comprehensive audits, including inspection forms and issue reporting
  
• Monitor compliance documentation including CoTC records, VMS folders, and ensure proper information dissemination
  
• Oversee contractor work, including checking RAMs, permits, insurance, and maintenance certifications
  
• Perform safety duties including Work Safe Observations, traffic management, and vehicle gate checks
  
• Manage site maintenance including grounds, assets, CCTV, interceptors, fire safety equipment, and facility inspections
  
• Handle incident response and investigations, including taking statements and documenting accidents
  
• Coordinate with external authorities and manage site inductions and training requirements
  
• Complete administrative tasks including AVA forms, permits to work, site documentation, and close call reporting
  

What we're looking for;

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the waste/recycling industry.
  
• Knowledge of environmental and local authority legislation
  
• IOSH qualification
  
• COTC TSH 4 - NEBOSH qualifications (desirable)
  
• Experience developing/mentoring people
  
• Disciplinary investigations
  
• Client relations
  
• Problem solving
