We are seeking x2 proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountants to provide interim support to the finance team, with a particular focus on assisting with audit preparation and financial reporting. This role is ideal for qualified accountants with strong analytical skills and experience in audit processes.

Description

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyse financial data to provide insightful reports to senior management.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support the year-end audit process, including liaising with external auditors.
• Provide financial input on ad hoc projects within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
• Streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Profile

A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Background in financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with relevant standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
