If you're a hands-on leader who knows high-volume meat production inside out, this Production Supervisor role puts you right at the centre of output, quality and daily performance.

Based at Lockwood Industrial Park in Tottenham, this position is focused on leading the day-to-day manufacture of sausages, saveloys and burgers ensuring product specifications are translated into consistent, scalable production.

This is not a general factory role, you'll be accountable for execution on the floor, machinery, process control, yield, quality and team coordination.

What you'll be getting stuck into as Production Supervisor

Overseeing daily manufacture of sausages, saveloys and burgers
Converting development samples into repeatable commercial processes
Adjusting and optimising batch formulations to meet yield and cost targets
Setting up and running machinery including mincers, bowl choppers, vacuum fillers, linkers and presses
Managing cooking, chilling, freezing and packing workflows
Troubleshooting bottlenecks, quality issues and wastage
Maintaining accurate batch documentation and traceability
Working closely with QA and Technical to meet BRCGS and customer requirements
Coordinating with planning and warehousing to hit dispatch deadlines

What you'll need to succeed as Production Supervisor

Extensive hands-on experience in sausage and burger manufacturing or similar food manufacturing
Strong understanding of meat science, ingredient functionality and process control
Proven ability to scale up recipes from development to full production
Confidence setting and running commercial machinery
Practical knowledge of food safety, allergen control and BRCGS requirements
Strong attention to detail and pride in product quality
Desirable experience includes niche formats such as saveloys or ready-to-heat products, and familiarity with short shelf-life manufacturing environments
