A prestigious Legal 500 firm in Leeds is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly regarded practice known for delivering exceptional legal services to clients who have suffered injury through medical negligence. The firm have a strong reputation for the high value matters they deal with and the level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims from initial instruction to conclusion
  • Handling complex, high-value medical negligence cases
  • Obtaining and analysing medical records and expert opinions
  • Drafting detailed letters of claim and court documents
  • Negotiating settlements and attending mediations
  • Providing clear and compassionate advice to clients during difficult times

Requirements:

  • Solicitor/Legal Executive, with proven experience in clinical negligence (can be claimant or defendant experience)
  • Excellent technical knowledge of clinical negligence law and procedure
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to assess complex medical evidence
  • Experience in handling high-value and complex medical negligence cases
  • Exceptional client care skills with empathy and understanding
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to the wider team
  • Good commercial awareness
