Elevation Tech & Transformation are working with a Barnsley based organisation to recruit an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT Operations team.

This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving a complex enterprise environment across hardware, storage, backup, networking and Microsoft cloud services.

The Role

• Support and manage HPE enterprise infrastructure (Synergy, Blade, rack and storage platforms)
• Maintain backup and recovery solutions (Veeam)
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online (hybrid environment)
• Support core networking (firewalls, WAN, subnetting)
• Deliver patching, upgrades, lifecycle planning and performance monitoring
• Maintain clear technical documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Strong HPE infrastructure experience
• Backup and storage expertise
• Solid networking fundamentals
• Virtualisation experience (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365

Experience with Azure, Fortinet, Citrix or manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
