Rother District Council Covid Information Officer – 10 posts available Environmental Services, Licensing and Community Safety Part time - 30 hours per week, Temporary Contract until 1st March 2021 Salary: £20,687 up to £23,048 per annum pro rata Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience An opportunity to work in the AONB of the Weald of Sussex, for the shared environmental health service for Rother and Wealden, the main towns being Bexhill-on-Sea, Crowborough, Hailsham, Rye and Uckfield.
We wish to appoint 10 Covid Information Officers to patrol our High Streets and commercial areas to engage with the public, to inform business, communities and voluntary groups of hazards and control measures for Covid-19.
Ensuring appropriate control measures are adopted and maintained by carrying out enforcement action if required.
You must be an enthusiastic person, who can engage positively with the public, be committed to the protection of public health and safety and the ability to immediately work on your own initiative within a supportive team.
Evening and weekend work are expected.
