IT Support Administrator/Engineer | Lamport, Northamptonshire | Full Time | Up to £25,000 depending on skills, knowledge and experience

Established for over 30 years, our client is one of the UK's leading specialists in the customer field visit business, providing support to a range of sectors including finance and insurance. They have a field force of over 150 vetted and accredited agents based across the UK and are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start, or progress, their career in IT. The IT Support Administrator will provide technical support to all internal and external customers on IT applications, hardware and telecoms.

You will have good technical skills with ideally some experience in a similar role and you will report to the IT Manager.

Are you the right person for the job?

The following criteria are desirable, but not essential

Knowledge of Windows desktop environment (incl. Windows 10/Office 365)
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Server OS
Knowledge of Active Directory\Azure Active Directory and Exchange
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL
What will your role as an IT Support Administrator/Engineer look like?

Provide IT Support to internal staff and liaise with 3rd party support
Adhere to IT processes and complete maintenance tasks
Ensure all documentation is kept up to date in line with best practices and current trends including maintaining internal and client reporting suites.
Running of MI reports
Maintaining the security and integrity of the IT Infrastructure
Basic server administration
Assisting with ongoing IT projects
