About the Role:Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to support pupil progress
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and activities
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Adapt to different classroom settings and age groups across Key Stages

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in UK primary schools is essential
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Confidence working across Key Stages (KS1 and KS2)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
