Finance Business Partner| 6 Month Contract | (Inside IR35) | Hybrid (Glasgow) | Starting ASAP

Day Rate: £452

Main Duties:

To provide professional financial support to business leaders, delivering accurate financial analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role supports decision-making and contributes to business performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities
. Provide financial support and analysis to business units.
. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and period-end reporting.
. Prepare accruals, adjustments, and validate accounts.
. Ensure compliance with financial governance and controls.
. Conduct financial analysis and identify risks and opportunities.
. Support investment appraisals and cost modelling.
. Engage with senior stakeholders to influence financial decisions.
. Deliver accurate business review information and reporting.
. Build detailed plans to support business planning and budgeting.
. Identify and manage commercial risks.

Essential Skills & Experience:

. Part-qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA).
. Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
. Good understanding of financial control and risk.
. Effective communication and influencing skills.
. Experience in financial planning and reporting.
. Ability to interpret technical accounting regulations into everyday language.
. Demonstrable stakeholder management and partnering experience.

Desirable
. Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW).
. Experience in complex financial environments.
. Understanding of project management principles.
. Degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or business management.
. Experience with Oracle-based systems and Power BI.
