* MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious company in the Consett area.

The Job Role You Will Do;

* Operating waste balers and compactors.

* Preventing shortages by ensuring containers and storage capacity are maintained.

* Carrying out litter picking and keeping the site clean and safe.

* Managing waste and recycling storage areas to a high standard of housekeeping.

* Handling hazardous waste, ensuring it's labelled, stored, and disposed of correctly.

* Managing WEEE waste storage and collections.

* Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth waste management processes.

* Following 6S principles and reporting hazards, near misses, and safety concerns.

* Supporting health and safety on site by working safely and leading by example.

* Carrying out other reasonable tasks as required.

About You;

* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential).

* Experience operating a forklift in a busy environment.

* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.

* Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines.

* A proactive, safety-first approach.
