We at Work Lyf Group are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nights Production Manager to oversee our clients manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production processes, supply chain management, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role is crucial for ensuring that our production meets quality standards while optimising efficiency and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate all aspects of the production process, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.

* Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

* Oversee the use of ERP systems, including SAP, to manage inventory, production planning, and supply chain activities effectively.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between production goals and overall business objectives.

* Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure products meet established specifications.

* Provide mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement necessary repairs or adjustments.

* Train and mentor staff on best practices in assembly processes and safety protocols.

* Develop and maintain documentation related to production processes, quality control measures, and compliance with industry regulations.

Experience

* Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.

* Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is highly desirable.

* Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

* Mechanical knowledge relevant to machinery used in the production process is advantageous.

* Experience with quality control processes and standards in a manufacturing setting.
