HLTA - Primary & Secondary (Home Tuition Team) - Summer Term (Starting 13th April) - Redbridge

Full Time for the Summer Term

£130-£150 per day (dependent on experience) | Alternative Provision | SANZA Exclusive Role

Are you a confident and experienced HLTA with a background supporting pupils across both primary and secondary education?

Are you passionate about supporting students who are unable to access mainstream school and thrive in a more personalised, flexible approach to learning?

SANZA Teaching Agency is working exclusively with a fantastic home tuition service in Redbridge to recruit a skilled and compassionate HLTA to join their team for the Summer Term.

About the Role:

Full-time HLTA role for the Summer Term (starting 13th April)

Part of a dedicated home tuition team supporting pupils outside of traditional school settings

Managing a caseload of students, delivering tailored academic and pastoral support

Working in collaboration with an Advisory Teacher to plan and implement learning programmes

Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SpLD (e.g. dyslexia, dyspraxia, processing difficulties)

Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions in community settings or alternative learning spaces

Building positive relationships to re-engage students with education

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience working as an HLTA or at equivalent level

Essential experience supporting pupils in both primary and secondary settings

Strong understanding of SpLD and personalised intervention strategies

Experience working with pupils outside of mainstream settings (desirable)

A nurturing, adaptable, and proactive approach

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
