Legal Assistant - Residential Property
TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a highly regarded regional law firm who are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join their expanding Residential Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established and supportive team, providing dedicated assistance to a Conveyancer handling a broad and varied caseload.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high standard of client care and ensuring the efficient progression of conveyancing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, from initial instruction through to post-completion
Preparing legal documentation and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties in a professional manner
Conducting Land Registry, SDLT, and AML checks and searches
Preparing contract packs and supporting documentation
Opening, maintaining, and closing files in line with compliance procedures
Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Conveyancer and wider team
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant within residential conveyancing is essential
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
A proactive and professional approach to work, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Proficient in the use of legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
