A fantastic opportunity to join a highly supportive specialist setting in Yeovil, Somerset. This school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong staff teamwork and commitment to helping every pupil succeed. You will support students aged 5 to 16, working at KS1 and KS2 learning levels, with additional Special Educational Needs (SEN) including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties and social, emotional and behavioural needs.Secondary phase work is also available, offering variety and progression.
Role & Responsibilities- Deliver pre-planned lessons across the classroom
- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Adapt learning to meet individual SEN needs
- Manage behaviour positively and consistently
- Encourage engagement, confidence and independence
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
Working Hours & Pay- Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm
- Daily pay: £100 to £120
- Ongoing, long-term opportunity
What We’re Looking For- Minimum 6 months childcare experience (essential)
- Experience supporting children with SEN
- Confident leading a classroom and covering lessons
- Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
