A dynamic and expanding accountancy practice in Milton Keynes is seeking a Senior Private Client Tax Manager to lead its high-value private client tax function. This pivotal role offers genuine progression to Director level, with exposure to complex advisory work across trusts, succession planning, and high-net-worth individuals.

Key Requirements

• CTA qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent highly desirable)
• Proven experience in a senior private client tax role within an accountancy practice

• Strong technical expertise in;

  Inheritance tax planning, Discretionary trusts and Succession strategies
• Demonstrated leadership in managing complex advisory projects
• Excellent client relationship and service delivery skills
• Commercial acumen with ability to grow and retain HNW client portfolios

Core Responsibilities

• Lead inheritance tax planning, including Family Investment Companies
• Manage discretionary trust structures and ensure ongoing compliance
• Advise on business sales, acquisitions, and corporate reorganisations
• Develop Employee Ownership Trust strategies and bespoke succession plans
• Deliver exit strategies for business owners and family-run enterprises
• Mentor junior tax professionals and maintain technical excellence across the team
